Delete your account and data

Delete inside the app

1. Sign in to Dorvik.
2. Open the menu (top right) and choose Account & data.
3. Tap Delete my account and type DELETE to confirm.

Delete by email

If you can no longer sign in, email privacy@dorvik.app from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify the request and delete within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account and login credentials
• All recordings still held in storage
• All transcripts, summaries, action items and translations
• AI chat messages linked to your transcripts
• Your profile and support requests

What we keep, and for how long

• Payment and invoice records — kept by our payment provider and by us for up to 10 years, as required by German tax and commercial law (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB). These contain billing data only, never your recordings or transcripts.
• Backups — deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before rotating out.

Timing

In-app deletion is immediate and irreversible. Active subscriptions are cancelled automatically as part of the deletion. Email requests are completed within 30 days.

Export first

You can download a copy of everything we hold about you from the same Account & data screen before deleting.
